AIMS AND SCOPE

International Food Insights Journal (IFIJ) is a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary journal that focuses on food management and service while also integrating food science and technology. Its focus is on articles addressing downstream food systems. The journal seeks to promote innovative and relevant research that addresses current challenges and creates opportunities within global food systems. It emphasizes food scholarship that makes both theoretical and practical contributions to ensure that articles are grounded in sound theoretical frameworks while also contributing to the development of strategies, policies, and solutions in the global food sectors. IFIJ (1) serves as a primary reference source for research in food management, food service, and food science and technology; (2) publishes articles on food-related studies that employ social science and/or applied science research methods; and (3) demonstrates the diversity and interconnectedness of downstream food systems by bringing together insights from the social and applied sciences.
